MUNICIPAL BY-ELECTION

WHO CAN VOTE?

A person is eligible to vote in a municipality who, on election day:

* is a Canadian citizen;

* is at least 18 years of age;

* has resided in Saskatchewan for at least six consecutive months immediately preceding the day of the election and:

o   has resided in the municipality, or on land now in the municipality, for at least three consecutive months immediately preceding the day of the election; or

o   is the owner of assessable land in the municipality, for at least three consecutive months immediately preceding the day of the election;

The Local Government Election Act, 2015 Section 36(1)

IDENTIFICATION REQUIRED:

A voter shall:

* provide to the deputy returning officer and the poll clerk one of the following to prove his or her identity:

o   one piece of identification issued by the Government of Canada, the Government of Saskatchewan, a municipality or a government agency that contains a photograph of the voter and his or her name and address;

o   two pieces of information prescribed in the regulations, each of which establishes the voter’s name and at least one of which establishes the voter’s address; or

* establish his or her identity in accordance with the procedures prescribed in the regulations.

NOTICE OF ADVANCED POLL

The Village of TOGO Municipal By-Election

Public Notice is hereby given that the council has made provision for an advance poll for the benefit of qualified voters who: have been appointed as election officials or anticipate being unable to vote on the day of election for the following position:

COUNCILLOR - 1

Advanced voting will take place on Friday, the 16th day of October, 2026 between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. at:

225 Main Street, Village of Togo Office, Togo, Saskatchewan.

The Village of TOGO Municipal By-Election

Public Notice is hereby given that a Vote will be held for the Municipal By-Election

for the following position:

COUNCILLOR - 1

On Wednesday the 21st day of October, 2026 between the hours of

9:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. at: 225 Main Street, Village of Togo Office, Saskatchewan.

And that I will declare the results of the voting on Wednesday the 21st day of

October, 2026 at 9:00 p.m. at the Togo Village Office.
